Ninja Blender Guide
Ninja Kitchen System 1100
The Ninja Kitchen System 1100 is an all-round blender designed to cater to all your blending, crushing, pureeing, kneading and processing needs. Featuring an 1100-watt motor it has more than enough power for most purposes, and there are indeed few situations where this blender will feel underpowered. The motor also has an electronic control system that ensures consistent speed regardless of what kind of ingredients you’re blending. When using it you can choose between three different speeds: dough (1), blend (2) and crush (3). It comes with a 40 oz. processing bowl as well as a 72 oz. pitcher, both of which are of course dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup after using the blender.
One of the great things about the Kitchen System 1100 is its capability of kneading dough with the included dough hook and paddle. With these two attachments you can make all kinds of dough, including pizza-, bread- and cookie dough. Other attachments include a 6-blade assembly for use in the 72 oz. pitcher and a 4-blade assembly for the 40 oz. processing bowl. The blades are of course made from high-quality stainless steel for maximum strength and durability. There’s also a whisk attachment that can be used for making batters, whipped cream, dressings and more.
While investigating this Ninja blender we came across a number of user reviews on various websites. Most seemed quite favorable, and the overall rating seemed to hover around 4 out of 5. What the users primarily liked were the seemingly high quality construction, the plentiful power and the very low price compared to similar blenders from other brands. What they didn’t like was that in some cases it didn’t blend the ingredients 100% smoothly, resulting in chunks. That seems to be the main downside of this blender that is otherwise reasonably priced and quite effective.

Ninja Professional Blender
The Ninja Professional Blender (also known as the NJ600) is an affordable countertop blender designed to challenge blenders that cost up to four times as much. This Ninja blender is quite similar to the Kitchen System 1100 in many ways, although there are a few things that sets this blender apart from its bigger brother. The motor has 1000 watts of power, which should definitely be enough for most situations (just 100 watts less than the 1100). It has three different speed settings: mixing, blending and crushing. Unlike the 1100 it doesn’t come with a 40 oz. processing bowl, only a 72 oz. pitcher. This means that it’s mainly geared towards blending larger batches of ingredients, but of course you don’t have to fill up the whole pitcher when you’re using it. The pitcher is of course dishwasher-safe and constructed from BPA-free plastic.
The Professional Blender does not come with a dough hook or paddle, further emphasizing the focus on using it for pure mixing/blending/crushing purposes. If you know you might want the ability to knead dough then the 1100 is the blender you should get. If you mainly need a blender for making smoothies, crushing ice, pureeing etc, then the Professional Blender should suit you just fine however. It comes with an ultra-sharp 6-blade assembly made from high-quality stainless steel, which can of course also be washed in a dishwasher.
User reviews for the Ninja Professional Blender seem quite similar to the ones we found for the Kitchen System 1100. Of course one of the main advantages of this blender is the low price, and the fact that in many ways it can stand up to blenders that cost much more. For the price it is very powerful. It does, however, seem to suffer from similar problems as its bigger brother when it comes to blending things smoothly. In some cases users report that there are chunks left that haven’t been blended properly. Some also complain that smoothies made in it aren’t liquid enough, although on the other hand there are users who love the thick smoothies it produces so that seems to be a matter of taste. The quality seems to be quite good though, and there are few reports of malfunctions.

Ninja Kitchen System Infomercial
This is the Ninja blender infomercial they’ve been airing on TV, selling the Kitchen System 1100. While it may be a little silly in some areas, it does show you what this product is capable of. Just remember to take it with a grain of salt, since it is after all a commercial.
